Welcome to Rythmeet! My name is Alan Hegron, and I am the founder of this innovative platform designed to support musicians at every stage of their journey. With a lifelong passion for music and art, I have observed the challenges that aspiring musicians face, from selecting the right instrument to finding practice partners and suitable spaces.
Having lived in various countries, including France, Canada, and the United States, I’ve witnessed how these challenges can hinder creativity and growth. Inspired by friends and family navigating their musical paths, I began conceptualizing Rythmeet years ago. In 2025, I took the leap to bring this vision to life.
I hold PhDs awarded from institutions in France and Canada, and I have had the privilege of working at prestigious universities, including Columbia University, New York University and Cornell University. Throughout my career, I have learned that collaboration is essential for success in any endeavor. This principle has guided the development of Rythmeet, which has been shaped by invaluable feedback from musicians themselves.
